Kindly note that we are having two sister concerns. One of them is Basic Technology Pvt. Ltd. which manufactures Twin-Screw Extruder and Accessories and another is SM Scientech which manufactures Spray Dryer, Fluid Bed Dryer, Tray Dryer etc.
We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. This equipment has been designed by our founder Dr.S.K. Mukherjee, who was All India Past President of Institution of Engineers (IEI), Past President of Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (AFST) – Calcutta Chapter and Past President Nutrition Society of India, Kolkata Branch.

In this connection please note that :

We have been designing, manufacturing and supplying above mentioned equipment for more than last 35 years and we have an expert technical team not only for installation & commissioning but also for after-sales service during warranty period and even after it for customers, all over India, spreading from Srinagar in the North to Tuticorin in the South and Agartala in the East to Anand in the West. Needless to say foreign equipment are purchased through agents who are non-technical; hence they will not be able to give technical back-up like maintenance/repair of the equipment. This is why laboratories of most Universities and other research institutes in India have become graveyard of imported equipment (especially cheap Asian ones) . More over there are indigenous companies who fabricate equipment as per specification but do not implement engineering aspect resulting in non performance of the equipment.
